About SunRain Productions

SunRain is a partnership of two filmmakers, Rain Breaw and Charlene Sun. The duo began working together while in film school at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. After numerous successful projects together, the pair decided to combine their complimentary skills in an official capacity.

Rain Breaw Rain Breaw

Rain Breaw is an independent film director/producer currently working with Laura Ziskin Productions on the Stand Up 2 Cancer initiative. In addition to this project, Rain is working on PSAs and Music Videos, and preparing her first feature as a writer/director. A 2007 graduate of the USC MFA Production Program, Rain has produced a feature film, Mr. Sadman (currently in post-production) and numerous short films.

Before becoming a filmmaker, Rain was a web developer. She continues to enjoy developing cutting-edge, standards-compliant websites to date, and is currently the Technical Supervisor of StandUp2Cancer.org. Prior to her life as a filmmaker, Rain taught interactive and web media at multiple Community Colleges in the New England and Upstate New York region, and also curated a new media center at Vassar College known as the Media Cloisters, presenting the innovative learning model of the Cloisters at such national conferences as the Coalition for Networked Information in Washington D.C. Charlene Sun Charlene Sun

Charlene Sun is a cinematographer and published digital artist. She has been interested in filmmaking since childhood, and her love for film has steadily grown since then. She received a B.A. in Theatre Arts with a film concentration from Cornell University. Charlene has had an extensive presence online as a digital artist, and has been director of photography for three short films, Underpass, Meeting in Cars and Marwa. She has also gaffed and 1st AC'd numerous short films, and has recently used her medical background to produce material for two medically oriented industrial videos. Charlene has over a half dozen years of experience doing art commissions.cwsun.com
